In a desperate move, she affirms to dishonor federal immigration official policies to honor jailing detainers, saying it drives “people into the shadows.” As of February 1, 2017 Sheriff Hernandez will lose federal funds in the form of criminal justice grants (about 1.8 million) and make less safe the city of Austin and Travis County, Texas.

The Clapper and Obama Wars (spying on Americans) must go. Snooping on millions of Americans’ private data was interpreted in Section 215 of the Patriot Act as legitimate by the Obama Administration. In 2013 Director James R.Clapper was asked by Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence “does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” The Clapper said no. Shortly after he had made that statement, he had sent a private letter, of which the content not on public record, to the committee admitting he clearly had made an error. A few months afterward, Edward Snowden had defected the NSA and had revealed classified information to the same effect. Edward Snowden is now assumed to Russia.
