Novena to Saint Francis Xavier – November 30th (Tuesday) | James Pat Guerrero

The Novena to Saint Francis Xavier, the November 30th day. The feast day of Saint Francis Xavier is December 3rd. Saint Francis Xavier is considered one of the greatest missionaries since the apostles. The apostolic zeal, the missionary travels to Japan and China, the stupendous miracles wrought through him, all are remarkable. Saint Francis Xavier was one of the first Jesuits (Society of Jesus). The novena is more challenging to do: a prayer, a mention, a Pray For Us, 3 Our Father’s, 3 Hail Mary’s, and 10 Glory Be’s. Once one begins the novena, it becomes easier and more embracing as the novena reaches the end. Here provided are the novena prayers. By starting early in the morning, one looks forward to praying every day of the novena. The novena day shall be posted ahead by a day until the end to help those who need help to pray.

This Novena prayer was passed down through the ages:

“Most amiable and most loving Saint Francis Xavier, in union with thee I reverently adore the Divine Majesty. I rejoice exceedingly on account of the marvelous gifts which God bestowed upon thee. I thank God for the special graces He gave thee during thy life on earth and for the great glory that came to thee after thy death. I implore thee to obtain for me, through thy powerful intercession, the greatest of all blessings — that of living and dying in the state of grace. I also beg of thee to secure for me the special favor I ask in this novena.

Mention requests here…

In asking this favor, I am fully resigned to the Divine Will. I pray and desire only to obtain that which is most conducive to the greater glory of God and the greater good of my soul.”

V. Pray for us, Saint Francis Xavier.

R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

O God, Who didst vouchsafe, by the preaching and miracles of Saint Francis Xavier, to join unto Thy Church the nations of the Indies, grant, we beseech Thee, that we who reverence his glorious merits may also imitate his example, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Add 3 Our Father’s and 3 Hail Mary’s in memory of Saint Francis Xavier’s devotion to the Most Holy Trinity, and Glory be 10 times in thanksgiving for the graces received during his 10 years of apostleship.

This novena to Saint Francis Xavier is for the most precious blessings of living and dying in the state of grace.  His feast day is December 3rd

What South Korean Democracy? | James Pat Guerrero

The North Korean military has attacked and continues to attack South Korea with no regard to the military demarcation zone, as Obama shows no support for the South Korean democracy.

Four attacks have occurred since Obama took office.

  • North Korea initiated a naval engagement against the Republic of Korea’s (ROK) patrol vessels in November 2009 at South Korean waters.
  • North Korea fired heavy artillery into the ROK in January 2010.
  • North Korea blew up the ROK navy patrol boat Cheonan killing 47 sailors in March 26, 2010.
  • This week North Korea fired an artillery barrage on ROK’s Yeonpyeong Island killing two ROK marines and destroying more than 60 buildings.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) arrested Ryan G. Toranzo of 3600 block of 18th Avenue Southeast, Naples, Florida, for the charge of killing a black bear on Monday night. According to FWC, Toranzo wasn’t taken into custody, although FWC charged him with various state felonies. One of the charges is discharging a fireman in a public place. But since the FWC investigation is ongoing, Naples Daily News is unclear exactly where Toranzo allegedly killed the bear. FWC Gabriella Ferraro spokeswoman and Lt. The Upton Light Bulb | James Pat Guerrero

The Upton Light Bulb is the new light bulb that Thomas Edison would’ve thought doesn’t give much light but then he wouldn’t have dreamed that  Fred Upton (R-Mich.) would’ve become the next chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee. Fred Upton is off to the same finish: Rhinocerosism (that’s a RINO ideology, i.e., the term isn’t guaranteed to be peer reviewed). It means not conservative in the RINO way, i.e., RHINOCEROSISM!

Here’s his voting record:

  • Voted for abortion without parental notification when a minor thinks about getting an abortion
  • Voted for cloning human embryos in embryonic stem cell research
  • Voted for the ban of the incandescent light bulb
  • Voted for more energy regulation issues
  • Voted for $409 Billion Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 preventing energy development and leading to Federal Land Acquisition
  • Voted for global warming issues
  • Voted for more environmental control issues

Basically, he votes for darkness.
