Sculptor Márton Váró Sues Ave Maria about Being Paid | James Pat Guerréro

Márton Váró sculpted a $3 million Anunciation depiction for the Ave Maria Oratory of Ave Maria Town, Annunciation At Ave Maria LLC, Ave Maria Foundation LLC, Ave Maria University, the Diocese of Venice, Soleil Fine Arts Inc., Michael Windfeldt, and his father and partner, Gene Leroy Windfeldt of Bonita Springs and Minnesota, Ave Maria Rural Stewardship, the state of Florida, and maybe more entities. The poor man worked his a** off shuffling between two countries to do the work in extreme weather conditions, and all the entities can say is that he’s been somewhat paid and we’re waiting for his accounting.

Immediate observation appears to be the representation for Márton Váró himself by Ave Maria resident Robert Klucik, who should step away from the lawsuit due to conflict of interest. The hypothesis is that there is possibly more liability extending to representations made by Ave Maria University, Nicholas Healy, Thomas Monaghan, and maybe others. This is an unusual conflict in that Ave Maria is a one of its kind concept that not even a Naples journalist could unravel.

Surely, the other Ave Maria lawyered-up motions and lawsuits will extend it to time, while Váró is unpaid.
