Texan Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) suggested to send U.S. troops into Mexico to fight the drug cartels. It wouldn’t be right for sending U.S. troops into Mexico to fight the drug cartels. First, they’re already troops in Mexico; they’re Mexican troops. Second, there’s a foreign policy in Mexico; it’s part of the American-Mexican foreign policy. Third, the drug consumption problem is on both sides of the border; then, Governor Perry might as well send U.S. troops to Texas, too. Since that would be absurd, it’s just as absurd to send U.S. troops into Mexico.
